Emma has had a hard time with Elder Tibbitts being gone.  She broke down when she emailed him and told him how hard it has been for her.  These are his sweet words back to her....

"It is hard, huh? and it can be hard to understand why Heavenly Father wants us to split our family up for two years. But just like he has blessed our family with being happy, there are millions of other families that are not happy because they don't know about Heavenly Father. For two years He asks the boys to go help other families, and then we can spend the rest of our 60 years with our own families. It's okay to be sad, it really is. But Heavenly Father always wants us to be happy, and He can show you how to do it."
